Crystal Bracelet Care & Fit Guide
A little gentle care helps keep your crystal bracelet comfortable to wear. Follow any care or sizing details on your bracelet’s product page first, as stones, finishes and bracelet styles vary.
Finding a comfortable fit
For a stretch bracelet, wrap a soft tape measure around your wrist where you would wear it. Keep it snug without pressing into your skin. Or use a strip of paper, mark where it meets and measure it against a ruler. Note your wrist measurement in centimetres and compare it with the product’s sizing details. Wrist size and bracelet circumference are not always the same, especially with larger beads. If the size is unclear, please contact us before ordering rather than relying on the elastic to make a small bracelet fit.
Your bracelet should sit comfortably without pinching, leaving deep marks or needing to stay stretched while worn.
Be gentle with the elastic
Gently roll stretch bracelets over your hand, rather than pulling them wide or tugging on individual beads. Avoid playing with or repeatedly stretching the elastic. Remove your bracelet before sleep, exercise or activities where it could catch. If the elastic looks frayed, loose or damaged, stop wearing it and contact us before putting it back on.
Keep water and products away
Remove your bracelet before showering, bathing, swimming, washing up or using cleaning products. Avoid soaking it, including in salt water. Keep perfume, lotions, sanitiser and household chemicals away from the beads, elastic and any metal details. Let skincare products dry before putting your bracelet on.
Gentle cleaning
Start with a soft, dry cloth and gently wipe the beads after wear. Avoid abrasive cleaners, jewellery dips, steam and ultrasonic cleaners. If a dry cloth is not enough, ask us for advice for your particular bracelet before using water or cleaning solutions. If it gets wet accidentally, gently pat it dry and leave it to air-dry away from direct heat.
Safe storage
Store your bracelet flat in a soft pouch or a separate compartment, away from direct sunlight, heat and damp. Keep it separate from harder jewellery that could scratch the beads, and do not hang it by its elastic.
Listen to your skin
If you notice itching, redness, soreness or other irritation, remove your bracelet and stop wearing it. Seek advice from a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or concern you.
